Seth Fairweather

Seth Fairweather’s work and interest is reclaiming and resolving the question of the individual voice. He

focuses on the individual, and creates objects which allow the viewer to disconnect from society’s

definitions and lose themselves in self-exploration; “The objects and installations I create are referencing

both the natural and the mechanical worlds that surround us, and using them as a way to access a deeper

understanding of the self.”

Seth began working with glass at Tulane  University in Louisiana in 2001. He went on to receive a BFA from

Alfred University in New York, and a MFA from Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia.
