Ryoichi Suzuki

Inspired by the flowing energies of being, nature and the human body, Ryoichi Suzuki uses line and form in

a calm, minimalist way to create a subtle sense of peace and reflectiveness. Suzuki writes, "There is a calm

immediacy to my works that invite viewers to explore and ponder.   I use a variety of media, usually

focusing on stone, wood and bronze."

Originally from Tokyo, Ryoichi Suzuki has been sculpting in the U.S. since the early 1980s. He has been

teaching sculpture at Utah State University since 2010. He is a member of the National Sculpture Society

and the Royal British Society of Sculptors.
