Over 30 years of excellence. A Gallery Fine Art & Custom Framing
Ed Pogue
Ed Pogue creates three-dimensional time portals, influenced by his time spent in Utah and Arizona; “I feel
the column lends itself well for the display of such attributes. The column, the obelisk, the totem pole...are
all fascinating markers of a past existence.” Pogue also utilizes computer modeling and 3D printing to
improve the time-consuming parts of the bronze casting process.
Upon completion of his MFA at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, Ed moved to Princeton, New
Jersey where he worked as a staff member at the Johnson Atelier Technical Institute of Sculpture. He has
cast several large public sculptures for Joel Shapiro and Julian Schnabel in New York City, and worked with
such noted sculptors as Ernest Trova. Ed has taught for several universities and art schools in the country
and is now Assistant Provost and teaches at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas.
